Initial Visit

We would love to welcome you to our office to find out how easy it is to get the smile you always wanted.  We strive to make your first appointment as comfortable and informative as possible.  You are welcome to ask as many questions as you would like.  Our goal is to give you a clear understanding of your treatment and for you to feel confident in the doctors and staff.

During the first appointment we will:

If it is time to begin treatment, the next step is to collect more information by taking a set of diagnostic records which include x-rays, photographs and models of your teeth.  We can usually do this the same day of your exam.

Getting your braces
This is your first step towards an amazing smile!  This appointment takes approximately 60-90 minutes, so please plan ahead.  We will spend a lot of time with you going over taking care of your braces and foods to avoid.  Once again, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Periodic visits
After your braces are placed, your appointments will be every 6-8 weeks.  Because we use the latest technology in brackets and wires, it is no longer necessary to be seen every 4 weeks.  This means less school and work missed over your total treatment time.
